Lynn Brown possesses over 30 years in the field of human resources. A seasoned
generalist, she has a breadth of experience in all facets of human resources.
Lynn’s particular expertise is in the areas of organizational effectiveness/process improvement,
job evaluation, pay equity compensation and benefits, policy development, legislative compliance and employee relations.
She has had solid experience in both the corporate and consulting environments
with start-ups and reorganizations.
Lynn developed the HRDiagnostic™, a comprehensive tool to help organizations maximize their human resources. It provides a full assessment of an organization’s HR programs, processes and practices. Proprietary to Brown Consulting Group, HRDiagnostic™, identifies which areas are working well and those that could be further enhanced.
Lynn is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC); a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and a member of the Human Resources Professional Association. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Employment Relations. She is also a McQuaig System Certified Interpreter and sits on the CMAC's Certification Committee. Lynn has written a variety of human resource related articles for publications such as Workspan, HR Professional, TLOMA Today, The Canadian Chemical News, CSAE (Canadian Society of Association Executives) Forum and Metro. She is frequently cited in national media including the Globe and Mail/workopolis.com, Toronto Star, Profit magazine and other business and human resources publications.
Prior to her consulting career, Lynn held several senior human resource positions in corporate environments, with a particular focus in professional services. In this regard, she developed national recruitment campaigns, aligned HR to business needs through effective strategic planning, and managed the HR aspects of a merger of two national professional firms.
As Managing Director of Brown Consulting Group, Lynn currently provides consultative services to a wide variety of clients ranging from smaller entrepreneurial companies to large multinationals. Her industry focus covers not-for-profit, financial services, professional services, insurance, manufacturing, media and entertainment, construction, transportation and high-tech. With her B.A. in Public Administration, and an M.A. in Political Science, her Masters Thesis was on Ontario's Freedom of Information and Privacy Legislation. She has also done on-air commentary relating to public policy and privacy issues for CBC Radio, CBC Morningside, CTV Canada A.M., City TV Breakfast Television, CJAD Radio in Montreal.
Since 2011 she has also been a member of the Consumers Council of Canada. In 2011 she was invited to participate with Advertising Standards Canada. She currently serves on two committees as a public representative: The National Consumer Response Council, which adjudicates complaints about advertising under the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards in collaboration with industry representatives; and the Children's Advertising Clearance Committee, which ensures broadcast advertising to children complies with the Broadcast Code for Advertising to Children. Denise also does on-site confidential customer satisfaction studies and reports for corporate management groups to assist them in assessing customer service standards.

Janice Carter brings more than 30 years experience in human resource management to the Brown Consulting Group. Her solid HR generalist background includes a wide range of expertise including legislative compliance, recruitment and retention, employee relations, performance management, staff development and training, career and succession planning, compensation, and policy and process development.
Janice provides a variety of consulting services to clients including employee relations, pay equity and job evaluation, compensation strategies, recruiting and retention, performance management, policy review and development, legislative compliance, process improvement and interim HR management.
Prior to her consulting career, Janice held several corporate senior-level HR and resource manager positions for international IT consulting firms. She also has many years of experience managing departments in various industries, including IT, auditing / consulting, and insurance. Her broad base of knowledge, business acumen and the ability to build strong relationships proves to be invaluable in helping clients to find innovative solutions to HR issues.

Tracey Dunn is a management consultant who specializes in human resource issues within the not-for-profit arena. Her knowledge of human resource management coupled with her strong negotiation skills and her practical approach enables her to work effectively with all levels of an organization.
Prior to joining Brown Consulting Group, Tracey enjoyed a career as a civil litigator as well as more than ten years in leadership positions for various not-for-profit organizations. An experienced program manager, Tracey successfully developed training programs which supported the development of business initiatives, sound leadership practices and strategic human resource planning.

Kenlyn handles a dual role for Brown Consulting Group. With a focus on recruiting, operational efficiency and process improvement, she provides expertise to clients as a consultant. In addition, she uses her expertise in managing finance and administration for the office.
Kenlyn has a broad background in accounting, human resources, administration, marketing and promotions. Prior to joining the Brown Consulting Group, Kenlyn spent 10 years in the television and film industry. In addition, she has held the position of treasurer in the automotive industry and managed a promotion company in the beverage industry. She has her B.A. Honours majoring in Fine Art Studies from York University. She is a McQuaig System Certified Interpreter.

Jim McKibbin is a senior consultant at Brown Consulting Group with extensive
experience focusing in the areas of communications, management, labour
relations, media and public relations, and sales and marketing.
Jim provides consulting, facilitation, training and management coaching to clients. In addition, Jim also handles the majority of our senior search assignments. His solid understanding of business, in both union and non-union environments, is invaluable in helping clients to identify issues, respond to challenges and develop results-oriented solutions.
Jim also develops and delivers a number of specialized seminars and workshops in the areas of management, leadership, communications, negotiations, sales, and conflict resolution techniques.
As a frequent speaker on leadership, diversity, management communications, demographics and social values, Jim has made keynote presentations to numerous organizations in the public, private and non-profit sectors including: Broadcast Research Council, the CBC, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Database and Marketing Association, Metro Toronto Convention and Visitors Association, Ontario Federal Council of Government Departments, the Ontario Multifaith Council and the Radio and Television News Directors Association.

Jim was also Director of the Toronto Learning Annex; Secretary of the Industrial Market Research Association of Canada; and for five years, was Chair of the Provincial Soft Drink Workers' Union. He is a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and a member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association. Jim also serves on a number of not- for-profit boards and commissions and is currently president-elect of AOTS, the men’s organization of the United Church of Canada.

Donna Morano has more than 15 years of progressive experience in human
resources. With a solid HR generalist base, Donna has focused her expertise in
the areas of talent management, succession planning, leadership development and

Glenna Stelzer is an experienced professional with 20 years in human resources
management. As an HR generalist, her expertise is in the areas of acquisitions,
restructuring and change management, recruitment and retention, employee

Judy Webb is an experienced professional with 20 years in human resources and administration. Her breadth of experience expands beyond human resources to include the development and acquisition of facilities, telecommunications systems, office furniture and equipment, and relocations.
Prior to her consulting career, Judy held a variety of senior positions managing human resources and administration/operations. Her experience extends from the local to national and international levels of business. She has overseen multiple start-ups and reorganizations and been responsible for the planning and management of the physical, intellectual, financial and human resources. She brings to the table a wealth of experience as a member of senior management. This sound business knowledge has provided her keen insight into client needs and the ability to respond quickly to provide strategic and cost-effective solutions.
Judy currently provides both on-site and consultative services to clients in her areas of expertise, with a particular emphasis in start-ups, reorganizations, facilities management and process improvement in human resources, operations and administration.
