We are seeking a results-oriented Claims Specialist with the empathy, expertise, and determination to assist clients through the complexities of professional liability claims. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of professional liability insurance claims. This includes assessing coverage, investigating, evaluating liability and damages, managing reserves, engaging and overseeing experts, mediating, negotiating, and settling claims, all while ensuring meticulous documentation of the process.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years work experience in managing professional liability insurance claims
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited university and/or LL.B. equivalent
- Current member of the Chartered Insurance Professional Society (CIP or FCIP)
- Exceptional analytical, critical and strategic-thinking skills
- Very strong administrative, time management and organizational skills
- Proactive problem-solving capacity, finding creative solutions to meet the objective
- Shrewd negotiating capabilities
- Effective relationship management, establishing trust, using discretion and acting professionally, to maintain effective working relationships
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Strong proficiency in basic office software (Office 365 or equivalent)
